At Tenbury Surgery we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.

IN LINE WITH RECENT GOVERNMENT AND NHS ADVICE ALL PATIENTS ENTERING THE SURGERY MUST NOW WEAR A FACE COVERING OR SURGICAL MASK.  THESE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM LOCAL GARAGES AND SUPERMARKETS.  THE PRACTICE ONLY HOLDS A LIMITED STOCK WHICH IS RESEREVED FOR OUR CLINICIANS.

The blood clinic at Tenbury Hospital will re-open Friday 1st May 2020 and will continue to be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  NO PATIENTS are to arrive at Tenbury Hospital without a prior appointment made for them by a GP at Tenbury Surgery.  Your Doctor will make an appointment for you and Tenbury Hospital will be informed of your attendance accordingly.  This is to ensure social distancing is adhered to at Tenbury Hospital and all staff and patients are protected.  If you require a blood test please call our reception team at Tenbury Surgery on 01584 810343 and a GP will telephone you to arrange this.  Many thanks for your patience and support.

Flu Vaccinations 2020

Our first Flu Clinic was on Saturday 3rd October which was a "Drive or Walk Through" service held on the Tenbury Pay and Display car park.

This clinic was only for all patients over 65.

We are planning to have another walk/drive through clinic in November but this will be for the 18-64 year olds who are "at risk".

We have approximately 980 patients in this category whereas we had over 3200 patients in the over 65 category.  This means the traffic will be much lighter.

To further reduce any possible traffic congestion we are looking at running this on a Sunday and increasing time duration of the clinic and spreading patients out more.

As before the Police, Council, and the Highways Agency are working with us to manage traffic and reduce any congestion.  We are also being assisted by the Marshalls that are used during the Tenbury Show.

We are still waiting to hear whether 50 - 64 year olds with no pre existing conditions will be included.  There aren't enough vaccines for this group at the moment due to a national shortage as so many people have had the Flu vaccine this year.  The trend for previous years was for less and less patients having the vaccine.

We will issue guidance nearer the time.

Children aged 2-3rs can still be vaccinated (nasal spray) in the surgery.  Please call to book an appointment.  Walk in patients will not be seen due to maintaining social distancing measures.
