Qualifying as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in 2004 before re-training as a General Practitioner. Dr Groning maintains an interest in problems related to nutrition, liver and bowels. She has an interest in chronic diseases, asthma and COPD. She is qualified to fit contraceptive implants and joint injections. She is our Prescribing-, QOF-, CEIF- and CQC-lead. She co-mentors the Keele medical students and supervises our clinical pharmacist and mentors the PCN dietician.
